haha yeah work can be a real drag at times but the chaos seems to subside at times and it always feels great...if it always feels short lived. Thanks for the compliments too I appreciate it, I have warmed up to most of them since then. I just seem to be constantly fighting with this perfectionist nature that I present myself with and it just brings about self doubt. I really need to stop, but I find I pretty much add that stuff almost subconsiencly now. Needless to say its somewhat tough to break but it needs to be broken .

About the pictures, though. They were taken at Sapphire Valley, North Carolina. They were so beautiful and some of the trails were sights in the selves. The trees were really twisted and curvey, I wanted to really capture the vibe I was getting from them it was just really cool. But there were supposedly about 214 waterfalls there of varying sizes...we saw about 10 lol.

But I am not sure if you are familiar with the term but the thing I am trying to do with them is referred to as Ortin...I don't know where the name came from. It is just supposed to help make them look more vibrant and make the contrast of colors more prominent. It is just kind of confusing.

Its just wonderful to hear from you again. Things have been honestly crazy, work is killer; over 10hrs every day. The waterfall shots are beautiful. I don't think they are stale at all. Where were they taken? Somewhere close? I urge you to continue experimenting with them and drop me a line sometime, It'd be nice to hear from you. Same phone but I work Mon-Fri at odd hours.

Hey how have things been going for you? I've finally decided to try and submit more shot attempts but now I've kind of overwhelmed myself. I've tried a border for one of my shots and I would like to do it for the rest. But I'm also experimenting on some techniques in photoshop that are supposed to help it look like it was taken with something other than a digital camera, which would help me out greatly. Also, with the latest ones being all about the water in them...I'm trying to learn to feather them to give them a bit of fantasy about them. They are kind of stale as they are now.
